Today is your birthday son and I just want to wish you a Happy Birthday and to tell you that you are very special to me. You were my pretty baby and you will always be my pretty baby...even at 44.

Happy Birthday Brother. I prayed a birthday prayer for you this morning. God says you are fearfully and wonderfully made, that God's precious thoughts of you are more than the number of sands you couldn't count. I prayed you would recieve all the good things he has for you today and years to come.
I love you forever and a day, happy Birthday.

Oh how sweet! Isn't he a beautiful baby. I don't know which picture I like the best they are all so cute. And he is just as cute, cuddly and sweet at 44, that is why I married him. He is very special to his family and we love him so much. We will celebrate this day with him and the time we have with him. I just wanted to say Happy Birthday Baby. Here's to many more years together! Hope your day is special because you are special to us. From your sweet thang.

As soon as you have children, their bithdays become more meaningful to you than your own. Isn't it a good feeling?

Sorry to intrude on the birthday celebration here, but I wanted to respond to your spam comment question. After I took down word verification I received a comment on a blog I'd done about my dog some time ago. Here's why it was suspicious for spam:

--it had a link to a dog blog that seemed merely created to provide links to dog products.
--it was posted to an old blog that I'd written some time ago. Spammers use search engines to find appropriate blogs to pitch their products.

Ummmm, I thought I had a third reason, but I guess not.

Loved your lawyer joke. I'd heard it before but had forgotten it. Tell your son that's one advantage of growing older and becoming forgetful. You get to enjoy the same jokes over and over again.

Happy Birthday to your boy. They are still our babies no matter how old they become - my baby is 36. I have noticed your posts on some other blogs and decided to take a look at yours - very nice.
Like the engineer story - very funny.
