No Bubble Bath Tonight

Tonight I thought I would relax and enjoy a nice hot bubble bath. As I went into the bathroom, there the cats were...having a ball, playing in the tub. They had taken a ball and a white mouse, made of carpet, into the bathtub and were tossing and chasing it, round & round.

Have you ever been to a fair and they have that monkey on a bike, or a motorbike, in a large wooden like bowl...going around & around? Well, that's what the cats were doing with the ball...batting it and chasing it around & around...then they'd get side-tracked & toss the mouse around for awhile...attack each other and then chase the ball again.

After watching them play, I didn't have the heart to disturb them so, I just went and took a quick shower instead and fixed Jimmy & I, a late night snack of

a bacon & cheese quesadilla with sour cream, salsa, an avocado and a cold glass of milk. I ate the avocado before I thought to take the picture...sorry.

The pictures of the cats was priceless, and what they were doing just sounds precious. And that food - I just ate lunch, but now I'm hungry again! Yum!!!

Those quesadillas look delious. I love avocado also - my mother used to have a friend that had avocado trees and she would always load my mother up and mom would pass some on to me - the friend passed away and now we are forced to look at fruit stands and the store for avocadoes.
I don't blame you - I wouldn't have had the heart to disturd the cat's play either. I used to have a cat that loved to sleep in the sink in the bathroom and he wouldn't move unless you picked him up and took him out of the sink.

Our Alleycat plays peek-a-boo in our shower stall and also likes to lick the shower water.

Loved the pic of the furry ones. I wouldn't have moved them either. :)

And I've been wanting bacon for weeks. In fact, I can't remember the last time I had real bacon vs. Morningstar Farms bacon. And real eggs rather than Egg Beaters.

Guess I'm off to the store.

Thank you for such a fun post.

Love the post. Those cats of yours make me laugh as do mine. I don't know what we would do without our cats do you?

And the food...... BOY does that look good! I'm sure Papa Bear would enjoy that too.

Yummmm!!! You've given me an idea for lunch tomorrow :)

I used to have a cat and I know what you mean. There were times when I'd get so lost in a game of fetch rather than doing something that I had planned on doing. Ah, I miss having a pet!
