About twenty years ago our city councilman told us to use our boat that was in our yard to deal with the flooding from the school garage new landscaping. They had to finally create better and deeper ditches and new drains plus slope the road away from the front of our home. Water has to flow the lay of the land and if not then proper drainage must be done.
