Something's bugging me

Here are some of the things that bug me, when I’m working in the yard…
NO, it’s not the nosey neighbors or the cats, who try to trip me up as I walk, or help me dig…And it’s not Cucoo who demands that I stop everything I’m doing to take his picture…And it certainly isn’t my husband.

It’s these darn bugs!!!

Now, I didn’t get a good clear shot at this scary looking guy because, he was trying to jump on me…Yeah, he was! And anyone who knows me, knows that you can hand me a snake, but I’m very scared of spiders. It almost drove me away, and into the house but, I think my screaming scared it off.

And why don’t these guys, just get a room!!!

I waited around the flowers for a bit…waiting for a butterfly to come by and land on a flower, so I could get one of those GREAT butterfly pictures. I waited and waited for something pretty…anything…and this is what I got.

I don’t know what this thing is, but get a look at that long thing on this guy…he can penetrate way into that flower…Is that a pollinator or a nectar sucker, he’s toting around there? You may have to click on the picture to make it larger and easier to see.

I finally did see a butterfly land on a flower, but when I approached, it flew away. I chased it all over the yard trying to get a picture and, I do believe that I have found an easy & enjoyable way, to lose weight...chasing butterflies.

Sandy, I've just caught up on reading all your posts and love them all!! Wish I had time to comment on each but I must get outside and do some gardening....make hay while the sun shines :) Sorry you didn't manage to photograph a butterfly....keep trying! Great way to exercise...I'll have to try it :) Nasty little bugs you have there! Congrats to the lovely, happy couple, Michael and Erica. Those bike trips sound amazing!!! I just love your kitty pics :) And the meme....nice to find out a little more about you. Gotta go before my computer quacks again :) Have a beautiful Sunday! (Later on I must go see how Mkitty is doing).

That first spider looks wicked.. that's why I have a bug man....I couldn't sleep at night if I found a spider or cennipede. that last bug looks sort of like a wasp....
ok, gotta stop talking about bugs... ugggggg.

Eeek, I don't like bugs either. And as the weather warms up, the ones here will only get bigger and more persistent!!

Ewweeee! That is a mean looking bug in the first couple of pictures. I saw a butterfly today in the garden. He was going from one flower to the next. But I didn't have my camera with me.

Those bugs don't look like any I would want in my garden. Hopefully they stay put in yours!!! (at a respectful distance of course) :)

Hi Sandy ~~ You have some good photos
of bugs. I hate spiders too. Keep on
looking for a butterfly which would look
really nice. I might try that too.
Thanks for your comments, I think most of the kangaroos are killed by Trucks and after all those wheels over them, not much to drag off the road. We are supposed to look for Joeys if it is a
female and take it to someone who cares
for it. They are not all that big, as there are all sizes. Cheers, Merle.

Great shots! I've seen those little black spiders around here. Nasty little buggers.
I just had a visual of you running all over the countryside with a camera in your hands. I think you just might have started a trend. lol ;)

I don't think I would want that first bug jumping on me either. It is strange we have cob webs I am constantly sweeping but I never see a spider in the house.
That wasp on that flower must be a pollenater.
Maybe you could patent your exercise plan - make millions - 'Come Chase Butterflies'

Hi Sandy, just flick that spider onto the ground and stomp him with you size?? shoe.

Great pictures Sandy!! Sorry about those pesky bugs. I've heard a spray bottle(like an old Windex bottle) filled with warm water and a couple of drops of liquid dish soap, does a good job of discouraging bugs. Just give them a spray and see if they don't just leave your area.

Love the idea of losing weight by chasing butterflies...LOL

I hope you used a zoom lens to get that close to that spider. He looks like he is about to pounce on you, not the least bit scared!

Wow, you got some really great bug pictures there.

I hate those jumping spiders!!!! We used to have these big ones in the house when I was growing up that would actually chase you if you missed on the first swat and didn't get them.

Your camera has a great zoom. Makes me want a new one. I have a problem with snakes, I always seem to locate them when not looking for them. I even had one (little copperhead) fall on me from above our back door. OH MY GOD! I still have a hard time going out or in that door~its been about 3 years.
What a beautiful wedding below. WOW that dress & they look happy.

Spiders and bugs don't bother me but SNAKES on the other hand terrify me! But you already knew that. VBS

Loved the pictures.
