Both Kerri and Susan posted a beautiful butterfly on their respective sites….and so as not to be outdone….I have also been chasing those elusive little butterflies around. I haven’t been as lucky as Susan or Kerri, my butterflies seem to be “physically challenged.” Otherwise how would I have been able to catch up with 3 ??? One might even be a moth in disguise…You be the judge.
I think I'm going to have to travel to another state to get the opportunity to photograph a monarch butterfly...I haven't seen any around here for a few years. Good excuse for a vacation, huh and do you think my husband will buy that?

Any excuse works for me :-)
Works for me too. I'd join you if I could! LOL
Loved your butterfly picture. It's always so hard to get them to stay still! they NEVER listen~!
lol
and Happy belated Bday to your Sharon! She is beautiful!
Sounds like a plan..a road trip...*VBS*
Actually, I'm not positive, but I think it's just a tat early for the monarchs to be around. I think they are more of a mid to late July, and beyond butterfly. The ones you've captured look great!!
Well, it's no wonder that we've never seen any here then. We are usually on a road trip in July.
I bet it doesn't ake much of an excuse for him to want to hop on the bike for a few days.
I've got so many pictures of birds I've taken but I don't have any of butterflies...well unless I can count the pics I took inside a butterfly conservatory? lol Beautiful shots you got!!
Any excuse will do for your hubby.
Beautiful butterflies.
He's probably ready to go! Pretty flowers.
Hi Sandy ~~ Thanks for your visit and glad you enjoyed some of it. I love
your butterfly photos. So you actually caught up with some. Well done Sandy.
Did you see my post on June 1st about a
butterfly Indian legend? Cheers, Merle.
Great shots! Any excuse to get outside the house, that's what I say. Hope you get to go on a road trip soon.
That type of excuse would work for me, but not sure about my husband. lol
I love your butterfly pictures.
I love your butterfly photos! The white (maybe a moth? I don't know) on the coreopsis is really lovely. All 3 are lovely. Keep up the good work (and thanks for the plug :)
Love your blog. And I live on a street named Pasadena so I had to check it out. :-)
