Cucoo the Artist

Cucoo, the not so starving artist….is here to unveil what he’s been secretly working on for the last couple of days. He decided to paint a picture of his friend & her baby, who accompanied him to the aquarium the other day.
Here he is posing in front of his blank canvas, before he gets started. As you can see, he is decked out in his painters smock, has a feather in his hair (just for effect) and his trusty paint brush. His painting pallet is in his other hand…and unfortunately, the photographer didn’t shoot low enough to capture his pallet.
Here is Cucoo’s first Masterpiece…It’s called, “Friends Forever,” a picture of the Counting Sheep and her baby. But of course, he also went, so he painted himself in the picture too. And after he got started creating his art…he just couldn’t stop, he loved it so much. So he went on to paint another…. Please click to enlarge, so you can see the delicate brush stokes and the painstaking time it must have took Cucoo to create such a masterpiece.
Cucoo at work…creates yet another masterpiece.
“The Pink Rose” is Cucoo’s second work of art.
And his third and final masterpiece is, “The Water Garden.”
Cucoo has unveiled here for the first time, just for you, his three masterpieces. And I say to you…Is there anything that this Cucoo can’t do? He is multi-talented.

My goodness, that Cucoo is an artist and not a starving one either (even if he is a little thin, I know you all feed him)!

Great pictures!

It is sad that the monarchs seem to be declining. I think a lot of it must be that their main winter home in Mexico has been disturbed in recent years. I used to really love butterflies when I was a kid, and since I have taken up gardening in the last couple of years, I have really started appreciating them again. One of the benefits of gardening.

Great paintings, Cucoo. You could probably start a business of selling your paintings. They are skilled and simply gorgeous.

I took your advice. The new photo shows up on profile page, but not on opening page of blog. Maybe that takes a while?

Nice compliment! Thanks a lot!!!!

I just can't believe the list of talents this skinny guy has!
Sandy, you're very creative :)
I think maybe Cucoo gets his talents from you.
You keep me smiling :)
Thanks!

Hi Sandy, I've come back to look at these two pictures several times. They really are beautiful and I'm so inspired, i'm hoping to try it out myself. You should frame these, or enter them in an art show! or sell them as beautiful 5X7 cards! LOL (I'll shuttup now).
good luck with the butterfly expedition!
