That Trespassing Squirrel!

Ferbie got into a tangle with that trespassing little squirrel again today. The squirrel knows that it’s not supposed to be eating the grapes while the cats are awake.

The squirrel has an allotted time slot when it’s allowed to feast on the grapes, in peace, while the cats are taking their afternoon naps. It should have known better!!!

But it just had to try & pull a fast one.

I don’t know who got the best of who…but maybe that little squirrel won’t mess with Ferbie again and will stick to its regular daily routine next time. Ferbie can be pretty ferocious when he wants to be and, you should have seen him using those back feet of his….I didn’t know he could move so fast!

Note* No animals were harmed in the making of these pictures.

Vincent runs the other direction when he sees a squirrel (and he looks over his shoulder to make sure they're not chasing him)
Scaredy Cat!!

This is too funny. I hope Mr. Squirrel got away safely and learned his lesson! My cats would have had him for breakfast and brought me the feet and tail.

That squirrel looks real!! Ferbie is having a blast!

So glad Jimmy's cataract surgery went well, other than the spilled soda in your purse!! Oy, what a mess!

I was reading all those helpful hints too. I'll have to try some of those!! Thanks Sandy!

LOL that squirrel is probably still in shock! I don't mind chipmunks around but squirrels are a different matter...they can do so much damage and eat all types of plants!

So, just to clarify, the squirrel is REAL? And it wasn't killed???

I'm amazed. It looks like a goner in the photos!

As I said..."no animals were harmed in the MAKING of the pictures" but, I failed to mention...which some of you already guessed...that the squirrel was already dead.

My cats are afraid of live adult squirrels and would run the other way (like Sue's Vincent) if threatened by one. Ferbie found this dead stiff squirrel back at the creek and carried it back to the grass and was giving it H*ll. Ferbie was pretending he was in a fight with it, tossing, turning & tumbling around with it.

Jimmy took the squirrel and buried it by the creek, where it could rest in peace.

Thanks for explaining Sandy. I thought this sure looked like a real squirrel and it didn't look like it was trying to get away, so I didn't know how you could say it wasn't hurt! Whew!!

Poor squirrel. I'm glad Jimmy gave it a proper burial. RIP.

Boy I sure am glad no kitties were hurt. You sure had me going. But alas, I should have known you were up to your gummy butt in tricks. Note that I have seen the little fellow below. I almost think I'm breaking out in warts now.
