Fall around the pond

Today we finally finished up with the firewood. It has been an almost daily job, but a very enjoyable one. The weather has been very cool and cutting & carrying the wood has kept us all very warm.

Here are some pictures that I took today as I walked around the pond.

Very pretty. I love the soft colors of these leaves, peaceful after the riot of reds and golds here.

This pond is one of the biggest joys of Shady Oaks it would be a shame to lose this pond. Very nice pictures

Those colors are beautiful. I especially love the one that looks (at least on my screen) a light purple.

Gidday Sandy, I think I may of mentioned this on another one of your blogs, but what I miss most in Aussieland is your fall colours, and I only miss it because I spent over 5 months in your country and know how beautiful your fall season is. Some really great pics, Sandy...love 'em.
