E.M.S.

Today as I walked into the living room of my daughter’s home, I spotted his EMS hat sitting on the back of the chair…and the picture of him above it. I just had to take the picture, because this is how I picture him as I see him speeding past my house in the ambulance or in a Rescue (1) Volunteer fire truck. I can hardly believe that my grandson has grown up so fast.

Today the EMS ball cap rests on the chair…that’s tomorrow’s job. Today he was out fighting a fire or assisting in a MVA.

They grow up way too fast. What a great picture, him as a sweet little boy and a symbol of the sweet man he grew into.

It's a noble job indeed. Good for him. I hope it gives him a lot of satisfaction. They do grow up fast.

Noble was my thought exactly, so I second the other comments.

I'd be proud, too. What a heroic job your grandson does for the community.
