Another peaceful Saturday

As I sit here, I am watching the falling snowflakes, as they pass by my window and the birds cheerfully playing in the hedge outside. I hear Jybow meowing in the background because she wants to go out. She's the only cat that we have that loves to be out in rain or snow. It's snowing very heavily and only a dusting is covering the ground although it has snowed everyday this week. It's really not that cold out.

As I look beyond to the trees I can see three little grey squirrels scampering from branch to branch as they scurry by. There must be a breeze blowing also, because I can see the American flag standing straight out, fluttering in the wind. The day is peaceful and since I got up to let the cat out, all is silent here.

I'm waiting for Jimmy to finish taking his shower, so we can go take Sharon back the jump drive (or zip drive...I don't really know what that little memory storage thingy is called). Zac let her borrow it so she could look at the pictures he has stored on it and yesterday she lent it to me...so I must return it as soon as possible because, she promised Zac that she would take good care of it and not lose it. I'm also hoping to see some Christmas pictures, that Sharon has, since this year I didn't snap a single one myself, although I carried my camera in my pocket all that day.

I talked with my youngest daughter Suzanne from about 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. this morning...I'll see her later today sometime, but for now I must go...Jimmy is ready and now waiting for me. Bye for now and I hope that everyone has a peaceful & happy weekend.
I took the picture of myself yesterday...I know how to amuse myself and it doesn't take much. *LOL*

love that self portrait. very cute

trying to have a quiet peaceful day here, too

the girls have really enjoyed watching the snow falling all day long, though the stuff on the ground melted fairly quickly

Sounds like you were having a wonderful Saturday so far! It was actually warmer here today than it's been in a month so it was lovely. Love your self portrait! lol Hugs xox

Great picture Sandy! The weather has been the same here. A good day to stay in and chill out. There was so many birds here today. A whole flock was out there. Honestly, I never saw so much bird poop on our driveway after they left. Geesh!!

Now, now, we're waiting for you to move that camera out of the way so we can see your face!!!

It's still snowing a bit here although the driveway and road are clear. The ground is white and our kitties, as you can see from my post today, had a great time running in and out all day playing in the snow.

Can't wait for spring.

It's good to see you Sandy. I like this pic :)
We had a bit more snow and wind yesterday, but the sun is shining beautifully on the snow today, although it's very cold...about 15º with a wind chill of -14º. Brrr.

Snow, but not that cold. Thats the way it should be. You painted a lovely picture.
Love the update below on Sharon, that Mall they were in looks almost like Katy Mills Mall down in Katy Texas.

Keep on clicking

Sandy, I'm sure there's a delay timer on your camera. If you use that and get an inexpensive mini tripod that fits into the bottom of your camera, you'll be all set to take photos of yourself everywhere! Fun!

Sandy ~ The only problem with the picture... is that I can't see if that's where Sharon got here smile or not. I think the device you are talking about is called "Thumb Drive", because that's about how small it is! ~ jb///
