What a BEAUTIFUL Spring day

The day started with the sun shining brightly and a little Spring cleaning.
The day was so pretty that the cleaning continued out to the car.

Daisy happily rolled around in the driveway, soaking up the sun's rays.

Hopalong went to her favorite place under the umbrella. We call it her, 'dome home,' because there's a garden knee pad kept under there for her to lay on and the cat feeder is also there.
Here's a better view of Hopalong's dome home. She's quite protected and it's a very cozy warm spot. If we miss her, we can usually find her here.

Jybow is getting the hole ready to plant some hollyhock seeds.

"I need some water for the seeds. Will someone please help me?"

My two daughters stopped by for a visit. Sharon came over on her bike and is holding her itinerary. She is going on a two week bike trip to Mt.Rushmore, Yellowstone and down through Wyoming, Colorado and home....I know that she's going to have a GREAT time.

Sharon is trying to talk her little sister into putting on her sun glasses and jacket for a photo shoot on her bike. Suzanne is the only one of my children that doesn't especially care for motorcycles...she really doesn't want to have anything to do with them. I'm still trying to talk her into going for a ride with me, but so far I haven't had any luck.

Sharon gets her to put on the jacket and sit on the bike, while I promise not to put any of these pictures on my blog. Suzanne doesn't read my blog anyway and will never see them. *LOL* So none of you better tell on me.

Aren't my girls sweet!!!?
It's been a beautiful day today with the temperature in the 70's (f). Jimmy & I would have also been on our bikes today, but the Wildcats were playing in the S.E.C.C. Tournament. Jimmy was hoping that it would rain today because he hates to watch a basketball game on such a pretty sunny day. I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend.

Jimmy should have passed on the UK ball game, since they lost!

It was a lovely day indeed!! I need to clean my car too, but I'll wait until it's a bit warmer so I can give it a good washing as well.

Loved all the cat pictures!! I must come and see you someday so I can see all your critters too!! I'll bet it's so toasty warm under that umbrella!

Your daughters are lovely Sandy!! That bike ride out west sounds like fun!! I'm sure she'll have a great time!

I'm trying to soak up some of your sunshine and warmth! Our temps are rising!! Yippee!
Your Jimmy is such a good helper. And of course the kitties are too :)
Enjoy the sunshine. We're going to get rain but it started out as a little snow this morning. xoxox

Hope you get away with getting that photo up onto your blog! I figure everything is fair game if your own flesh and blood doesn't bother to read your blog.

I agree with Pea: the butt shot of Jimmy was a good one AND he makes himself useful too!
