Happy Father's Day

Jimmy spent a relaxing and quiet Father's Day today in the hammock. The day didn't start out very relaxing for him when I informed Jimmy that I was hearing water spewing from under our kitchen sink. We couldn't find any leaks under the sink, so it has to be below the floor. What a great way to start off a peaceful Sunday morning and Father's Day to boot!

Since Jimmy still has that road rash sore on his knee he can't be crawling around under the house looking for a water leak, but by the sounds of it, it won't be hard to find. I talked him into just shutting off the water at the meter and calling a plumber Monday morning to fix the problem. Jimmy has never called anyone to fix anything around the house unless it has to do with the electrical breaker box.

The day was beautiful and nice & warm even though it looked as though it was going to start pouring the rain at any moment when we first woke up. It was a lovely surprise when the sun made its appearance, so Jimmy decided it was time to put out the hammock. You can see that he wasn't alone in that hammock once he hung it out under the Ash tree. The cats love the hammock almost as much as Jimmy does.

There is no shortage of shade in the yard, but the storms are really working at destroying our poor Ash tree.

Later in the afternoon Jimmy and I went to visit our own Dad's on this Father's Day. They are both buried at the same place just a few hundred feet apart.

Happy Father's Day to all dads today and I hope that all of you dads had a wonderful day spent with your children or at least got a call from them today.

Hi Sandy,

Is that Madison Memorial Gardens?

The hammock looks lovely and so comfy! Jerry looks like he is relaxing well, and I know the cats are glad he put it up and was out there so they could be up there with him!!

I hope the water leak got fixed okay and wasn't too big of a deal.
