Just another day in Paradise

Last night I watched The Bridges of Madison County again with Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep. It's such a romantic movie.

Today Jimmy & I were going to get serious about cleaning up this house and getting all of our traveling stuff put away, but then we got an early morning call that we were needed to come babysit for that sweet Little Bug, Noah. He's such a good little 7 month old and not one bit of trouble unless you don't like babies who smile and laugh all the time.

Jimmy also made a follow-up visit to see the doctor today and got his bandages re-dressed, and is to return for another visit on Monday. Hopefully he'll be all healed up by the time our rafting trip rolls around.

Brian, Reva & Brandon stopped by today and we all went out to eat after we looked at all of our vacation pictures again. Of course that just made me feel sad that I was now back home instead of still there, not that I don't have a wonderful family here, but I had so much fun on vacation that I really hated to see it all end.

The picture is from our trip and I did ride my own bike all the way out to Nevada and back, and although I like being in control, it is a bit lonely riding alone at times. My brother Jerry gave me numerous cassette tapes to give me some music to listen to on my way home to Kentucky from Nevada and that really helped pass the time. He's such a sweetie and I did enjoy listening to all of the music when I couldn't get any radio stations. I just 'bee bopped' all the way home :)

I'm missing everyone already even though I just got back a couple of days ago from our trip.

The remarkable thing is that we have made the world just a little bit smaller with our emails, twinkle phones and Facebooks.
