Happy Birthday Jerry!

NO! He isn't really 92 years old...Someone just accidentally put the 6 upside down on the cake. Just a little innocent mistake by you know who.....Sharon.
TODAY is my brother Jerry's Birthday, so while he was visiting us here in Berea on the 11th & 12th, we went ahead and celebrated his birthday early. It wasn't anything big or elaborate but just a simple family get together.

Here's my very young and handsome brother Jerry.

Jerry and his wife Pat are on a cross country trip visiting family and are zig zagging all over the U.S.A. and we were tickled to death that they stopped by here to visit us. We hope that they will make us one of their regular yearly stops from now on.


Here are some of us. Suzanne, the picture escape artist, once again eluded having her picture taken. I don't know how she does it, but she is always missing from any pictures even though she is here. On this day she was absent, but she did stop by to visit the night before.


Here we are on our way to get some baked spaghetti at Papa Leno's. It was just the five of us on this day. We had planned on visiting some of the local craft shops but we spent so much time catching up and laughing that we ran out of time. I'd rather visit anyway.


We celebrated Jerry's Birthday on Aug. 12th (a day early) by going to the local Mexican Restaurant and why NONE of us thought to tell the staff that it was his birthday is beyond me. They would have made Jerry wear this ridiculously large Mexican sombrero that makes everyone look & feel stupid in it, while they sing you a birthday song that you can't understand.

We had a great visit with Jerry & Pat and really hated to see them leave so soon. Maybe they can come back some other time and stay longer so that we can take them around and show them some of the local sites.
