Wrapping it up

I know that I haven't been here in a few days, but that doesn't mean that I haven't been thinking about you. Things have been going on here in my world beyond my control, but now I think that things are settling back down and that we'll be back to normal soon. We just have one more hurdle to cross and two more doctor's appointments to go to and hopefully we'll be through for the rest of the year with doctors.

My son-in-law Scott is home from the hospital and doing okay or as well as can be expected for someone who tried to mimic Humpty Dumpty last Tuesday at work. I don't think he'll be trying to do back flips off any rooftops any time soon. He probably would have been okay if those darned two boulders hadn't gotten in his way...maybe they were just trying to break his fall so that he wouldn't hit the ground so hard.

Jimmy went in for thyroid needle biopsies x3 today and came out with a small band-aide over his neck and said that all he felt was a little sting when they numbed the area and that was it...the rest was painless. After we left the hospital we picked up Megan at school and went to get something to eat, then we brought her home with us so that she could take her bike back with her to school for her advanced motorcycle class tonight. Jimmy will get his biopsy results next Thursday when he sees the doctor again.

Well that's about all the news I have for now and hopefully everything will stay calm until my brother's arrival on Saturday.

I have a soar back from lifting the wrong way. I took some acetaminophen to ease the pain. But we will leave early Saturday.

Dennis,
We can't wait to see all of you. It'll be fun having a full house again.
