Unite Bikers Against Drugs (U.B.A.D.)

Yesterday we rode with U.B.A.D. in support of Upward Bound Ministries with all the proceeds collected going to help fight substance abuse and drug addiction.  The day was hot but there was a big turnout.  After the ride we all came back to some fantastic food, a pig roast, great door prizes and a silent auction.  At the pig roast we were also joined by people in cars who came out in support and to enjoy a great meal and fellowship with everyone there.  It was a day of fun in the sun, all for a very good cause.

There's my red bike amid all the other bikes during
a rest stop.

Sharon was surprised to meet up with a friend who
rode all the way in from Nicholasville just for the UBAD ride.

This was Sharon's Happy Birthday Ride.  All she asked for
was that her mama take her on this UBAD ride.

There were only 2 trikes on the ride

Bikers lining up as they come in to register for the ride.

I had never heard of this before, but fun for all and for a good cause! Sounds like a great day!

The motorcycle group (UBAD) is a Christian group of riders and the name of the club UBAD stands for Unite Bikers Against Drugs.
