While I sit at home eating fruit snacks, my grandchildren, great-grandchildren and my daughter are out doing marathon bike races. They go about every weekend somewhere to compete. It's great fun for the entire family, for those that go, and for us who get to see the videos and pictures that they text us, right as it is happening. That's me, Suzanne, Ray and Carson.....they (Suzanne, Ray & Carson) bike for pleasure, but they don't compete in marathon bicycle racing.
Since I have had difficulty walking these past few months (since Brian passed on), it gives me great pleasure receiving moment by moment playback on how much fun they are having and how the race is going. I'd like to share some of the pictures and videos I got from this past weekend at Green River State Park, and also a spoof video made by Carson.
And, the Mama with Bo (Sharon's pup) are pictured below at their campsite. Sharon didn't compete in the big race this time, because she had to ride with Myles & Jack as their guardian in their races. Myles came in 4th, so a BIG CONGRATULATIONS! to him. The big race for the adults I heard was very difficult starting out with 4 miles up a steep mountain. Some of the participants didn't make it, so seeing Zac and Megan at the Finish Line was quite an accomplishment.
