Love my Indian jewelry

These are the pieces that I have been wearing lately, but I do have more.  When Jimmy and I would go out West on our motorcycle travels, we would always stop in Arizona at the Navaho Indian Reservations and we would buy silver & turquoise jewelry and belt buckles from them.  Jimmy loved his belt buckles and would get so many compliments on them when he wore them, and he always wore them.

The ring is an exception, I didn't get it in Arizona and it is nickel silver  and maybe turquoise, I'm not really sure about it.  It was a gift from Kathy Agee.  It was too small for her and she had a hard time removing it from her finger on the first day she had it, so she gave it to me.  I like it and wear it everyday.  I have some real silver & turquoise rings and earrings too and a few bracelets.

Silver and gold are the only jewelry that I will wear because it doesn't break me out in an itchy rash like other metals, and besides I love the look of silver & turquoise together.  They require some upkeep tho and have to be cleaned and polished all the time or the silver tarnishes.  I don't mind tho because it is such pretty jewelry.  And gold is pretty and shiny all the time.

Apparently nickel silver doesn't break me out in a rash either.
