The rain turned into about 3 inches of new snow last night, or sometime early this morning. It’s a really wet snow and it looks like a picture post card outside. The new snow is stuck on every branch of every tree and bush, and it looks so pretty out there. We are just lucky that the temperatures were just right and that it is snow on the power lines and not icicles dangling from them. That was the picture at 5:00 a.m. Now I hear the dripping of snow outside. The weather is clear, the snow is melting again getting ready for our next round of snow sometime later today.
We still have plenty of food on hand and no where to go. Love that feeling......

Snowed in Again
I may be snowed in again, but this time I am not snowed in alone. Last week it snowed so deep that I couldn't drive out so I got a ride from Leo, my neighbor, and his 4Wheel drive drove me to Steve's and then the next day Leo came and picked both Steve and I up and drove us back to my house where we spent the next few days snowed in. Yesterday it began snowing again. We have plenty of food, no appointments to keep, and lots of movies to watch. It should be fun........

Snowing Heavy
The snow is really coming down and it is accumulating fast. I think I will go out and clean the snow off of the car periodically throughout the day so that it doesn't become a chore when and if I need to use the car.
It is expected to snow heavily here for 24 hours and they are saying that we can expect 2 inches of snow every hour. That's a lot of snow for our roofs, but I can't do anything about that. I am snowed in here alone for the second winter in a row, but as long as I have heat I will be fine.
