Open Your Eyes

I wake up every morning to beautiful sunny skies and it's hard to believe that last year at this time our area was experiencing rainy days that never seemed to end. It's a good thing that Jimmy & I went on three different trips last year to visit relatives who lived where only the sunny skies were to be found.

Our weather last summer was not normal weather for us and for a while I thought we might be turning into a tropical climate with all the rain that was falling daily. The rain was good for this part of the country because places in Georgia were experiencing their worst drought conditions in many years and their water supply was replenished by all the rain that fell. So in the end there was a very good reason for all the rainfall.

There is always a reason for everything that happens, we just have to look for the good that comes from it.
