Dylan & his Great Papaw

Dylan is our 18 month old very cute, energetic, lovable great-grandson, who just can't resist pushing a button, if he spots one.
This past week I was working on a project...I had been working on it for about an hour when Dylan and his grandmother stopped by for a visit. I should have just stopped what I was doing and hit the 'save' button...but no....I had to be a dummy & continue.
Dylan came into my computer room and I gave him a hug & a kiss, he looked around and left the room to go play with the cat toys....he loves to play with the cats toys. I continued with my project....thinking I'd be through in a moment. Then suddenly, Dylan was back and decided to explore how the daybed was put together...no harm in that. I kept watching him out of the corner of my eye, making sure he was ok, as I typed away...but I guess I didn't watch him close enough, because all of a sudden there he was...pushing the button on my computer tower. I was too late to stop him and it was all over for my project....my computer shut down and I lost everything.
After all was said and done...it didn't really matter. Apparently what I was working on wasn't meant to be...and I certainly didn't want to start it all over again. I learned one thing...save save save...as you go along and shut it down when company arrives...especially Dylan. He's too cute to ignore anyway.
I tried to get him to smile for the picture, but he's at the age where he'll stop and let you take the picture, but he won't smile. He smiles and laughs all the time, but he's on the move and it's hard to get a picture of a moving target, that doesn't turn out fuzzy or blurry.

You are the cutest mom and your son is so beautiful! What an adorable face! My twins Natalie & Nicholas are 2 years old next week. How time flies! Nicky loves to press buttons too, and this has caused much chaos in our home. But you can't stay mad at him for more than 3 seconds.
I hear ya about the photos - thank goodness for digital. Our Christmas picture took 48 takes!

Jimmy and Dylan are two cute guys, mom.

You had better cover up your buttons with tape and maybe he won't see them to push. Hopefully, he will grow out of that stage before long. As you said, though, save, save, save before you lose.
