For the bird watchers

This is part of a series of about 26 pictures titled, "When Cloning Goes Wrong." I just picked a few of the bird pictures because I know one of you has a husband who goes bird watching and maybe he hasn't seen some of these unusual birds.

I did see the bunny owl overlooking the river just a few months ago, down by that red oak, near cottonpatch, just a few doors down from the old sower mill. Where Denver used to hang out.

I hope I don't run into any of these birds! I wonder if Cucoo has ever encountered them when he is outside. ???

Oh Sandy, these are hilarious!! Unfortunately my hubby has gone to bed already, or else I'd be showing these photos to him right now.

Perhaps he could classify these obviously rare and kind of creepy-looking birds for us?!

What a hoot!! And I don't mean by an owl...LOL

I think my favorite is the foxy red bird...LOL Thanks for sharing the smiles and laughter...*VBS*

P.S. Yes, most of the schools and Universities in my area closed early yesterday or did the "turn around" thing and sent the kids home as soon as they got there. We have alot of country roads here, and visabilty was about 0 much of yesterday. IT's very heavy wet snow, 105 of 120 metro area buses were stuck, no traction, on the freeways..what a mess! There was a layer of ice under the snow...so DO enjoy the 70's and bask in the springtime that's blooming around you. Hugs, Finn *VBS*

I have to admit that I did a double take with the first picture - we have a lot of gators down here and a flying one would just be too much. Once I caught on the rest were cute.

On the scrunchies I used the small elastic for pig tails and crocheted around them. The girl's hair is so fine. They are fun and easy to make and you can just make up your own design if you like.

We were just sitting and watching a male cardinal this morning. I can hardly wait until Dear husband comes in to point him to these pictures.

I want to thank everyone for stopping to see these unusual pictures. Someone did a fantastic job of putting these guys together, don't you think?

I, to am glad that we don't have birds that look like some of these, although I do think the little brown bird that someone is holding is awfully cute...and I agree with Finn about the red Foxy bird...I think he might be my favorite too.

Too funny. I need to make sure that I finish my first cup of coffee before I look at posts like these. I did a few double takes before I realized what I was looking at. Good stuff!

Anne...these aren't real...someone just put them together probably using photoshop. Made them look real didn't he/she.
