The church is really level, but it just looks crooked because it's built on a hillside, the road is slanted and the hills behind give it the illusion of being crooked.
At Knots Berry Farm in California they had a VERY crooked house built and even the floors inside looked very slanted and you felt weird walking even though you were walking upright, the other people inside looked like they were walking sideways. It was a very interesting experience and I'm sure other amusement locations have built crooked houses.
A crooked church??? As we ride by this church, it always looks like it's sitting a little cockeyed to me.
