More hands in town...

On June 29, 2006…I posted the “Show of Hands" that are on display in our town. At that time, there were only 4 different hands but, now I think they have most of them displayed around town. There are still some empty spaces (flat concrete pads) where hands used to be displayed, but this is all I found for now...

Five more beautifully painted hands:

This picture, with the upside down geisha is the back side of the first hand above. And don't ask me why the people are all painted upside down...I just don't know.

I like the last hand and on the other previously shown hands the one with the man wearing overalls walking. Around here it's fish we have. I think I like the fish better!

The upside down ones are standing on their heads!

Sandy,
I just loved seeing more of these! Such artistic talent. Hope your get together works out for this weekend. I told Tammy that I wished I lived closer so I could be there too!
Sounds like such fun!!!

Thanks for the Women Want etc you sent. I tried to get it the same as you sent it, but Blogger had it his way as usual.
I tried editing 3 times with co success.

I went back and looked at your June post too. I love the idea of the helping hands...such a positive outlook for the community. And the artwork is fabulous. I especially love the blues in those first hands they put up.
Thanks for sharing these Sandy :)
