The rest of the pictures I promised you...

This is the parking lot at Cumberland Falls State Park and Jimmy is waiting for me to take the pictures of the bridge over the Cumberland River.

This is the bridge crossing the Cumberland River right above the Falls.

Here's a little bit of color and fallen leaves...I also like the curved wooden fence and the deep green pine tree next to the tree that is changing in color.

I like the way the sun is shining through the trees in this picture.

Picture of the river below the falls.

And finally another picture of the falls.

This concludes yesterday's post, but I still have some more pictures that I may use later on. Although it started out very stormy today the sun came out and it was very nice and warm....however tonight a cool front has moved in and the fall colors are more prominant.

Thanks for sharing the photos. So did you go over the falls in a barrel? If you did, how about a picture of it?

If you had went over in a barrel as Gary asked I'd say you would still be too dizzy to post this soon!! Or still floating on down the Cumberland!!

I love that bridge. I think it's really pretty, and of course that is a lovely place. I hope to get back down there again before it gets too cold.

You know when you are in this neck of the woods that you are welcome to drop in!! It's only one mile off the main road ya know!! Of course my house may be a mess and me.....well..... I'm always a mess!! HAHA!!! But remember you are welcome and I'd be happy to see you!!

Maybe I could go with you to the falls and go over in a barrel when you go over in your barrel!!! Teehee!!

I was just telling someone else one of the few things I miss about my childhood home is the beautiful fall foliage. Our leaves turn but they pale in comparison.

Sandy is your bike a trike or a quad?

The pictures of your visit to the Falls are great. We've never been there but it looks like someplace we would want to visit and spend some time. I've been to Niagara Falls (which are awesome) and this falls looks like a puddle compared to it. But, it's still beautiful.

Don't you just love riding with the sun flickering through the leaves on the trees and feeling the heat on your face?

We saw a trike the other day that looked so small and not as pretty as yours.

Oh WOW!!!!! WONDERFUL photos! I love the rivers & falls! VERY BEAUTIFUL! :o) Thank you so much for stopping by, I'm very glad you enjoy my latest work!! :o) It usually takes about 2 to 5 days to create one. It really depends on the size, as well as what I'm working with. The Longnecks took about 3 days each, while the Saber-Tooth Cat took about a day and a half. Thank you again!!! :o) These pictures are INCREDIBLE!!!!

Rivers and bridges - now they could become another addiction for me, if we had any around here.

Oh well, I'll just have to enjoy yours instead, Sandy. They are lovely photos and I really like that bridge. I love watching water, whether it is at the coast or flowing down a river.

Thanks for sharing some of your delightful experiences.

Squire...my bike is a quad. The original back tire is still there so that the side tires can be removed and it turns back into a regular bike.

Gidday Sandy, I love the fall colours in the USA. We don't have this here in Queensland, being a sub tropical state. When I was last in the US I was there during August to December so I went up to Maine and Vermont and the changing colours were mangificent. Also there is a small island you can walk over just before the waters go over the Niagera Falls and the colours here were also brillent.
