A very full day

Well, we're off to the airport to pick up a great-nephew and his 6 week old son, which would be our great great-nephew...is that right?
They're flying in from around Fort Pierce, Florida and should be arriving at 11 a.m. this morning. Hope the plane is on time because our granddaughter, Erica is having a baby shower at 2 p.m. this afternoon. Erica's daughter is scheduled to arrive in this world on Janurary 26th...can you believe that she had a choice in choosing the date of arrival? Things have certainly changed since I had my children. Not to worry though because if we just so happen to miss her baby shower, tonight at 6 p.m. her church is having a silent auction to raise money for their trip to Haiti in early December, and we'll see her there.

I did want to attend an Arts & Crafts Fair sponsored by Berea College this afternoon that is selling their wares at 50-75% off today. I heard that they had many lovely pieces of furniture, stained glass, quilts, brooms, pottery and anything wooden you could think of. I really don't think I'll be able to squeeze this event in, but Brian said he was going to have a look. Since he's found out that he can make bowls, he's now interested in attending these fairs, to see & talk to the people who make wooden bowls...he asks them a lot of questions, but isn't that the way to find out about things?...to ask the experts?

Well, Jimmy says it time for us to leave. Have a nice day.

I love arts and crafts fairs. I have my house filled with arts and crafts stuff. I'm running out of room. I think I may need a larger house. :)

Hope your family had a safe flight in and you made it to your grandaughter's shower.

Now she's not going to haiti right now, is she?

Enjoy your time with some of your loved ones:-) I also love craft fairs but this year I'm not doing too well with them...I've missed 3 so far that were being held around here!! Always something else crops up to keep me away from them...oh well, saving money this way! lol

You did have a busy day. A craft show sale sounds too good to miss. Hope you fitted it in.
What is the plant in your picture? It's pretty.

For those of you that wanted to know (Susan & Kerri) about the plant in the picture, it is a Burning Bush out in my back yard. The leaves are gone and it has those berries on it.
I thought it looked pretty.

Rachel, Pea & Kerri...I wasn't able to make it to the craft fair. Just not enough time in one day, but I did have my own private lesson in bowl making.

Gary...I think I also need a bigger house for all my stuff although my husband says I just need to get rid of some of it. *LOL*

Terri...No, Erica is not going to Haiti in her condition but the rest of her family is.

Jellyhead...Every day is a happy day for me, although some are not as busy.
