A beautiful day to ride

It's mid morning, sunny and already 70º....I couldn't ask for a better day to get on my bike and ride.
*
There's just one thing missing...no leaves on the trees yet...unless you can count brown dead ones. It still looks a little bleak around here except for the green bushes scattered around.
*
These pictures were obviously taken earlier. The picture of the bikes parked is at Lake Reba in Richmond, Ky. and was taken last year and the beautiful stone bridge is one of many that you will find along the Blue Ridge Parkway and was taken on Aug. 11, 2005.
*
Once the days become pretty, I will be spending more time outdoors and less time on my computer. I hope that the weather is pretty wherever you live, so you can get out and enjoy each beautiful day with the ones you love.

Enjoy your ride and the lovely weather.
We have some overcast skies, but we're still going out and about.

What a beautiful bridge, and I enjoyed following the Blue Ridge Parkway link to find out more about this road - wonderful for motorcycle riders!

I have been out weeding, turning the soil and planting new perennials out front by the walkway and stoop.
Yesterday we went fishing and caught nothing but a beautiful feeling.

Glad to hear your weather is improving Sandy, the trees will get their leaves soon I'm sure.

Isn't the sunshine wonderful? Glad you've been able to get out and do some riding. The trees won't take long to leaf out with this warmth! Our daffodils began popping open on Friday and now we have lots. They're so cheerful and bright!
Love that bridge. The Parkway sounds like a great place to ride. Thanks for the link.
Enjoy your Sunday! xox

The leaves are so brown and they are falling off our Bradford pear trees where they were killed by the frost. The other trees that were bit just look like they do in the fall. I don't know if they will come out of it and green up or not. I guess they are totally confused!!

Today sure is a pretty day! I have seen several motorcycles going up and down our road.

Enjoy and be careful out there!!

Beautiful picture of the bridge. Hope you enjoyed your ride. Hopefully Mother Nature will bring those trees back to life with nice new green leaves.

I am SO ready to get our bike out of the shop. It's an older one we inherited (literally) and it's been at our mechanic's house ever since. sigh.

If you are not going to be near your computer, maybe you should get one of those fancy hand-helds. Then you could blog from the road! One more thing to carry, but they are small!
