Today we salute the fallen soldiers who have died serving their country and to those brave men I say, "Thank You, for a job well done!" If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here blogging freely saying whatever I want to say.
I'm wishing clear blue skies for everyone on this holiday weekend and for those that are lucky to be celebrating with family for the entire week....well most of it anyway, have fun.

I'll add my profound thanks to all the brave men and women who have served, and those who are still serving to keep our country free. We owe them, and those who have gone before them, a huge debt of gratitude.
We do have clear, blue skies today Sandy. I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day with your family and clear, blue skies too!
May God bless America!
Happy Memorial Day to you, dear Sandy. We don't celebrate it here in Canada but I know what an important holiday it is to remember for my American friends.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment you left me regarding the nasty email I had received...it's people like YOU who make blogging so worthwhile:-) I think I was shell shocked because it came from a blogging friend I'd known for 3 years!! Sheesh!
Anyway, hope you have a fun holiday and don't worry about not visiting often, goodness knows I'm also slow at visiting! lol We both know we're here for each other, that's all that counts:-) xox
It rained all day today. We salute our wall of soldiers that protect our environment surrounding us. We could not cook out or swim today but Motherkitty and Kitten Yarn taught Dancer Girl the realities of Monopoly. Grandma and Kitten Yarn play a tough hard game.
Hope you had a wonderful day Sandy!! We had storms in the afternoon but nothing bad, but the rain continued the rest of the day.
Loved the joke in the previous post and Jybow resting!!!LOL
Hi Sandy,
Hope your Memorial Day was restful and fun filled. We had kind of yucky weather here, but a good weekend all in all.
We do owe our veterans a huge debt.
xo
Thanks for for the thoughts. Meanwhile bogged down with a speech class, irrigation class and finals coming up soon. You know the old saying: "One step at a time"
