Back in business....

Both Jimmy & I are ready to ride again. His wounds are COMPLETELY healed up and my bike got fixed yesterday. Since our little mishap with what is generally called "uneven payment" on highway construction sites my trike has had a front wheel that to me seemed like it needed alignment.

Yesterday I took my bike to the dealer and the mechanic checked it out thoroughly after we told him what happened to us in Canton, Mississippi with the uneven pavement. The mechanic gave me good news that nothing was wrong with my front tire, but he did find a crack in the bracket that holds on the plate, that holds on my training wheels, and he said that we needed to get that welded right away.

Just as soon as he told me that my bike needed welding I called my son Brian and he told me where to take it to, so off we went to find the welding shop. They were very nice there and welded the crack. Now I'm ready to ride again, but these days I'm wearing my helmet whenever I ride just like I did on our recent trip.
