Muddy water at Cumberland Falls

The day was beautiful and Ron, Jimmy & I started riding at 7:00 A.M. on some beautiful country roads and at 8:00 A.M. we met Brian, Reva & Brandon and continued our ride to Cumberland Falls in Kentucky. Brian led the way and the rest of us followed him until it was time for breakfast.

Here we all are waiting for our breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Somerset, Ky. The waitress was nice enough to take this picture of all of us.

We arrived at the falls early and found ample parking spaces so that we didn't have to walk far to see the falls. The water was muddy because of all of the rain in the area the day before, but everything else was pretty, green and lush. I love our state because it is so green.

Here they are...some of my favorite people. Reva, Brandon, Brian, Ron & Jimmy.

Ron looks like he's having fun....

Brandon found a hole in the rock that made a perfect seat.

Reva & Brian making use of the stone benches along the way.

So many places to discover and see here. There are hiking trails, swimming, horseback riding and even white water rafting here. They have cabins that you can rent and a lodge with good eating and rooms for guests.

We had a great day of riding and we were all tuckered out when we got home. Today's a new day and I wonder what we will discover or do today?
