Why haven't I blogged?

I haven't blogged lately because sometimes life gets too busy with family, and that's a good thing, unless of course it's with funerals for two family members and then it's not such a good thing for those remaining here on earth.  There's been a lot going on and thank God they don't involve visiting doctor's offices anymore.  At least not for now.  I've been spending lots of time with my kids, my brothers and of course with Jimmy, and life has been good to me.   Nothing makes me happier than to have those around me happy, healthy and enjoying life, and by healthy I don't mean that they don't have serious health problems, but that they are managing them the best they can and still enjoying life.

I am very, very proud of my daughter-in-law who has quit smoking.  Smokers know that it's not an easy thing to do and that it requires saying NO to that daily cigarette craving day after day.  I just wanted Reva to know how proud we are of her.

When I'm missing from my blog it doesn't mean that anything is wrong.  And if someday I fail to come back at all, it will be because I'm having the time of my life in Heaven...and that will be the GREATEST THING!
But first I'm going to enjoy every moment of my life here on earth and I have no plans of leaving this place anytime soon.

My new favorite time of year is just arriving, Spring, and as I look out my window I can see new tiny bright green leaves budding from the hedge next door.  Our Maple trees are blooming red and the Daffodils, known as Buttercups around here, are blooming everywhere.  It's truly a time of rebirth.  So get yourselves out and enjoy this sunny day that has been set before us, it will not come again.

Please tell Reva how proud we are of her and to keep up the good work. Take each minute as it comes and never give in to temptation. I have been tempted many times over the past 10 years, but so far I've resisted. And, that's a great feeling.

Isn't spring just the best time of year???
