Thankful and Heartbroken,

Hearing about all the death and destruction, and seeing all the images of the aftermath of the tornadoes, makes me feel so thankful each morning when I wake up and see the daylight that we survived another night without incident.  We have been very lucky here and have only been hampered by a few cloudy days and rain that comes at night...and our biggest problem is waiting for a dry day to mow the grass.  Today my thoughts are with that mother who had her 3 year old child ripped from her arms as they took shelter in a bathtub.  One of her other children has also died and I can't imagine the heartache that this mother must be feeling at this moment.  My heartfelt prayers go out to all who have lost loved ones in the recent storms, and to those who are left standing with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
