What a beautiful Saturday

The sun is shining, the birds are singing and we're thinking of going riding a little later.  Most of the pretty fall colors have left here except for just a few, like the pear trees in the pictures in the previous post.  I was out yesterday and spotted  them and with the sun beaming down on them I just couldn't pass by without taking pictures of them using my phone.  They just looked so beautiful to me.

Jimmy and I met my brother for a long lunch yesterday and it was so nice seeing him again.  He seems to be doing quite well and he was feeling in a joyful mood and it's always nice seeing him so happy.   We look forward to many more visits with him.

Harley, our injured kitten, is doing better with each day but he is starting to pull at his many stitches.  The stitches have to stay in until next Friday and I can see that we are going to have to watch him even closer.  A big event for us is that Harley who was previously an out door cat is now litter trained.  We tried to litter train him before his accident but he refused to use the litter box, so he was only allowed to come in for short visits:)  Since his injury we have been lifting him into his own shallow litter box because he couldn't climb in or out of it himself, but yesterday he surprised us by climbing in, doing his business and climbing out all by himself!!!  We are so proud of him and told him so :)  I'm afraid that Harley is going to become a house cat and that will involve neutering once he is well.  But.....if he starts spraying, he will have to go out.

I hope that everyone is having a relaxed day doing whatever they want to be doing today.  The weekend is going to be beautiful.

Glad to hear Harley is doing so well.

We were supposed to have nice weather today (Saturday) but the sun never came out. Sunday should be better...I hope. I have yard work that needs to be done.
