Today looks like it's going to be another beautiful day here in central Kentucky. The humidity is down making it a perfect day for some outdoor activities if you're so inclined.
Rick is getting ready to go outside to do some spraying. He likes to spray around the mailbox, telephone poles and any place that you can't get to with the lawnmowers. This cuts down on the weed-eating that he has to do. He sprays his two other yards too, but first he will spray mine and then go on over to spray his, maybe not today and maybe he will. That I can't say for sure.
Today is Tommy's birthday and he'll be 61 years old today. That's one of Rick's older brothers. He will probably spend the afternoon with Tommy today hanging out at McDonald's. Since Sonic is right next door to McDonald's, they sit on the outdoor concrete Sonic tables and probably people watch and discuss life....who really knows what they talk about, and not too many people care either.
Rick's chevy truck is having new back brakes put on and it should be ready today. It also needed new hubs and springs, so it's going to be a costly repair. Rick woke up around 4:30 a,m. worried about the cost and couldn't go back to sleep so we got up and had coffee. We stayed up until about 6:00 a.m. and then went back to bed and slept until around 9:30 a.m. Rick wasn't called into work today, so that was a relief for him since he didn't get much sleep.
I personally don't know what I will do today, but I'll find something to occupy myself with. I've gotten pretty used to being home all alone these last few years and it's not so bad. In the Winter I'm fine, but in the Springtime I want to get out and by Summer I've got cabin fever so bad that I'm hard to live with. My two daughters have been fantastic about including me in their lives a little more. I really need their love and emotional support to keep me going. I buried myself away from everyone after Jimmy died, but I'm ready to come back and live again.
