It's been a while since I have been here, but I haven't forgotten my blog at all. I sometimes think of all the wonderful memories I have posted on here through the years. I've had a very blessed life filled with loving family, happy times and some sorrowful times as well. When we love deeply, we feel great pain when those we love leave us whether it's in death, or just plain leave us. I'm happy to say, that if I loved you, I will always love you.......that never changes for me.
Lately, all this week I have been dreaming of family. They are such wonderful dreams that I hate waking up. I miss my family so much. I never wanted to live next door to them until now. I can't get close enough to them lately.
My family are like beautiful flowers, all of them.
These pretty pink Primroses appeared this Spring near my building. I used to have a bunch of them, but one Spring they didn't come up so I thought they were all played out. Every year or so one or two might pop up and bloom in some odd place in the yard, but for some reason they popped up all together in a bunch this year and I was so glad to see them again.I found the next two pictures of my granddaughter Megan, Lyv and Myles on Instagram online and I copied them out onto my computer & phone. This is how I get most of my pictures, LOL, and I don't think the kids mind at all.
They all look so so pretty in pink, even handsome Myles. Megan is a great mom and I'm so proud of her just as I am so proud of all of my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
I am truly blessed, and I'm about to be blessed again with another great-grandson. His name is Odie and is expected sometime in the next couple of weeks or so. Odie's parents are Brandon Hatcher and Krystal Nicholas, and we can't wait to meet him. Below is a picture of Odie's Dad, Brandon, when he was just a young boy. Brandon and Jimmy were very close, and that's why I chose this picture.
I didn't have time to find my favorite picture of Brandon and Krystal, but when I do I'll try to remember to post it here.
One of these days after the birth of Odie, we'll have to get all of the great-grandchildren together and take a picture of all of them together.
It's funny, but I have five grandchildren: (four grandson's and one granddaughter) Doug, Matt, Zac, Brandon, and Megan.
After Odie is born, I will have five great-grandchildren: (four boys and one girl) Myles, Carson, Jack, Odie and Lyv.
Like I said before, I love my family and I feel so blessed to have each and every one of them.
Update: Sorry Ody that I spelled your name wrong here before you were born on June 6, 2023. I promise not to do it again. Don't feel bad because before Myles was born I also spelled his name wrong. I spelled it Miles, not Myles.
