getting together

We are so excited!!!

Tomorrow we are leaving on a weekend trip to the opposite side of the state...It's a 4 1/2 hour drive, as long as we don't stop along the way to have a sticky beak *LOL*...and there are plenty of wonderful sights along the way to check out too.

I will be the lead car of a 3 car caravan. The first car will be carrying The Four Bears in the Woods and myself...in the 2nd car will be my youngest daughter, Suzanne and my grandson Matt and his wife Tori (hopefully, we can all convince them about the joys of blogging)...and driving the 3rd car will be Camellia in June and my granddaughter, Megan. And maybe we can convince Camellia to start up her blog again.

Oh, this is going to be so much fun...this is the point where I think you can tell I have cabin fever.

As we head for the far reaches of the state we will pass by Mammoth Cave Natl. Park, the Land Between the Lakes, Lake Barkley SRP, Kenlake SRP and Kentucky Dam Village SRP.

We are on our way to Kitten Yarn's to celebrate "Little Ones" 2nd Birthday and to join Motherkitty and Tomas, poolside for a weekend of swimming and partying. So I won't be posting anything new until Monday...See you at the party!

UPDATE: Camellia in June and granddaughter Megan will not be following the caravan on Friday due to a previously scheduled event. Hopefully we will see them on Saturday.

Baby Bear is packing now and I am packing as I go. I have a lot to make sure I don't forget. We are really looking forward to it. We have been trapped in this cabin all winter and really need a break from it. It will be nice to visit family too.

Can't wait. Wish Jimmy was coming with us. Maybe another time after the ballgames are done. *VBS*

See ya tomorrow!!!!!!

Oh what fun. Road trip. Be careful and have lots and lots of fun and may your cabin fever go away. I'll look for you Monday or Tuesday - you may need a day to rest up.

We need to make sure we watch out for semi trucks on our trip. *VBS* Remember what happened on that one trip? Too funny. Something I will never forget, I will have that to laugh at the rest of my life.

All kidding aside, you drive fine.

I left a post last night but it didn't post for some reason????

Gotta go finishing packing.

Welcome to my neck of the woods. Maybe on another trip, we can meet and swim and party together. :)

Tell Camelia I wish she would blog again. I really enjoyed her perspective.

Maybe someday we could all go riding. If you don't mind being in the company of a rice-burner. lol.

Bornfool...My husband said that those Harley's can't stand up to the riding that we do.

Heard you had a great time, that's so fun to be with family for those "special" occasions. It's great that you made the trek west. I'm trying to catch up on emails and blogs and just veg out. Going on vacation is HARD work. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow.
