The Haircuts

When I was 12 years old my two older teenage brothers and their two friends asked 'little ole me' to cut their hair. Mind you....I had no experience at cutting hair, but I did have a pair of clippers. If you want to read this funny story titled, "Sandy & Dennis" go over to Tomas Stories n' Links.

Very cute story. I can remember a time when I was about 3 or 4 years old and I cut my bangs REAL SHORT. Needless to say I never did that again! LOL

Thank goodness hair grows back out!

Very cute Sandy! You were quite the haircutter for 12! I'm not sure I could give a mohawk even today :-)

Oh Sandy - that is a great story. I went and read it and I only wish that you had some photos to complement the story.

This story was written by my brother Dennis and the reason there are no pictures is because in 1956 I didn't have a camera and besides all the parents were very upset and wanted to forget the whole thing.

One of the boys...Bobby...was a very talented magician and was scheduled to appear on the Ed Sulivan Show or the Late Show and his appearance had to be cancelled because of THE HAIRCUT.

Oi, cancelled over a haircut? Not very progressive thinking back then, huh?!!
