Bragging

My 13 year old grandson Brandon has always done well in school and we knew that he was a smart kid when he started reading those thick Harry Pot*ter books and quit asking his mom & dad what his gameboy was asking. He learned to read early and loved it, so I guess that's the secret to understanding lots of things...to be able to read and understand what you are reading.

Click on the newspaper clipping to enlarge it.

We're all very proud of Brandon, not just because he's a great kid, but also because of his exceptionally good grades in school. He scores in the 99th percentile of students in our state and has been selected to take the ACT test in February as part of a Duke University sponsored program.

Brandon...
We're all VERY PROUD of you,
and LOVE YOU very much!
Keep up the good grades.
Love & Kisses,
Grandma & Grandpa Jimmy

I have just caught up on reading your past couple of posts. Makayla is so cute! With this cooler weather chili is just the right thing to have!
