Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree

Well....I finally put my Christmas Tree up. All 12 inches of it! Now all I have to do is decorate it, but wait....I forgot, it's a little fiberoptic tree and all you have to do is insert 2AA batteries and turn the switch on. I don't know why I always dread putting up the tree. I guess it's because I hate taking it down and having to put it away.
One good thing about putting down that sheet of cotton snow is that we don't have to dust under it...yipee!

This year I have 3 little Christmas Trees in my little Christmas Town and they're all different sizes...this one, the one in the picture is the tallest one, and if I don't say so myself, they're really pretty when they're all turned on. I'm not finished decorating yet...I'm just getting started.

You are lucky you don't have any kittens inside your house.Molly our 3 month old would play soccer with those cute little figurines.

I like the tree and little town.

You always make me laugh, Sandy :) I like your little 12" tree. It's just my size!
Ross and I were just talking about him going up to get a 'Charlie Brown' tree from our Christmas tree meadow, where we planted a whole bunch of them in 2002 & '03. The deer ate at least half, and the ones that are left are small yet, and far from perfect, but they're fine for us.

What's this "dusting" thing you refer to?

:)

I love your tree. I'd love to see it glowing.

I'm going to copy you next year and make a Christmas table.

All the best,
Darilyn

Great looking little village.
Sorry, but your kitty story below is funny. You know when a cat gets snake bit it causes a knot (swelling) did the vet say what caused it?
Sand in her pee now that is weird.
One more question did you google it?

Sandy,

Merry Christmas to all of you!

That little tree looks adorable to me!
I put up a big tree but it just may be the last time I do! I haven't been able to do much this time in decorating- or in any other way!

Still-I hope we all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy year in 2009.

As well as getting started, I hope you've also finished, as now it's Christmas Day - although it's finished here.

I hope you have a wonderful day, Sandy, and a very happy New Year.
