I'm watching Flash Gordon film clips. Flash Gordon used to be one of my favorite TV shows when I was about 5 years old, and no....I wasn't even born when the first episodes were being made. Flash Gordon was around at least 10 years before I was a twinkle in my parent's eyes.
Flash Gordon's space ship used to look so real to me and now it looks kind of lame, but you have to remember that I was 5 at the time. Sometimes his space ship would bounce haphazardly on the ground of some distant planet and then wobble around a bit as if it was being dangled from an invisible wire, and there were times when I thought I had seen that wire sparkling in the lights when I got older.
In this clip Flash Gordon parachutes from a Rocket ship and right into the door of another space craft. My favorite Flash Gordon episodes were the ones where some bad guy would put him in a tank and the tank would fill up with water, but Flash always managed to get free. I never missed an episode and I guess this was the start of my trekkie years and Star Trek, Lost in Space, Planet of the Apes and anything to do with space travel and aliens.

I have been online more often with all this cold weather we've had. I'm hoping it'll get above freezing today like they said!

Rachel...Yes, I have been on the computer a bit too much lately but that has given me time to visit some of my bloggy friends too. Although I love snow, I'm ready for some warm sunshine and Spring already. This is the longest that we have had snow on the ground for several years.
I love Cucoo's little scarf too...I made it for him and his little hat too. I don't know why I didn't make them matching since it takes little yarn, but that's all he gets and I'm not making him another set. hahaha
