No Mother's Day Ride this year....

Today is the prettiest day we've had in a long time and it's supposed to be pretty all week with temps in the 80's.  I hope this is what we can expect from now on because I'm tired of cloudy, rainy days and I'm ready to spend more time in the sun.

For Mother's Day I got some pretty new scandals and a pair of flip-flops to go with my new bathing suit.  Now I can go swimming in my brother's pool when we visit.  The bathing suit I got was a complete surprise because never in a million years would I have guessed that one of my children would have bought me a bathing suit.  I'm just not the bathing suit type and have avoided them for years now.  But hay! what the heck, I'm not getting any younger and I have always loved playing in water.

Right now Jimmy is under some restrictions because of the pacemaker he had implanted and one of those restrictions is that he can't ride his motorcycle for the entire month of May.  I know that he's hoping that when he sees the doctor tomorrow that he can get him to lift that restriction.  He has high hopes but I think he's forgotten that he isn't allowed to lift anything over 5 pounds.....and, I think lifting the motorcycle off the kick stand might be a tad over 5 lbs.
