Rick was super sweet to me yesterday, but the three things that he had planned for us fell through, but only because of an unfortunate deadly accident on I-75 involving one car traveling the wrong way which resulted in 6 deaths. All persons involved in the accident were killed.....4 children & 2 adults. The driver going the wrong way was a 38 yr. old woman, and the car she hit head on was driven by a 30 yr. old woman with 4 children. Two families cried themselves to sleep last night.
Rick and I finally headed back to Richmond after being stuck in traffic, and we had an early supper at Cracker Barrel. We rode around for a little while digesting our meal and then we stopped at Sonic for one of their great tasting ice cream cones. We sat there and talked for a while and watched traffic go by. Sonic was extremely crowded, so we looked at all the different models of cars going through the drive-thru and tried to decide which car or truck we wanted next. I'd like to have another 4W Drive SUV preferably a Toyota. I think Toyota's can possible last to 400,000 miles or maybe even more. I also would love to have a 4W Drive extended cab pickup truck with a full sized bed, a diesel would be nice. I've heard that diesel will go more miles than gasoline.....but that's just hearsay.
It's Sunday, so I'm resting today watching Netflix movies because it's wet outside. Rick has gone to Mc'Donald's/Sonic to sit and talk with his brother Tommy. McDonald's and Sonic are right next to each other and Rick parks at McDonald's and walks across a short span of grass to sit at the outdoor Sonic tables, his brother does the same thing. Sonic is so crowded that it's hard to park in their parking spaces and you don't really want to do that unless you want to take the risk of someone running into your car. Even if we eat at Sonic we still park at McDonald's. It's just safer there, and we're right near our car.
I'm closing for now. I'm going to find another movie, or a series to watch on Netflix until Rick gets back home. Bye, Bye.
