(Insert catchy Title here)

Has anyone noticed the date today? It's Friday the 13th. I don't know where I'm going with that, but when we woke up this morning there was 3-4 inches of snow on the ground and just when my pretty little daffodils were beginning to bloom. I thought today I would go out and get another picture of their progress, but they look a little crispy along the edges and not very pretty...even in the snow.

I have no clue as to how the small pictures of Jimmy are going to line up when I finally publish my post and I also have no clue as to why they lined themselves up in this order, but hey...I can't complain it's Blogger and it's free, and it's Friday the 13th.

The pictures of Jimmy were taken a couple of days ago when our temps were hovering around the 70 degree mark. We were all outside enjoying the nice weather and our hopes were high that the end of the cold weather was behind us now. So much for dreaming....

As you know, I went to the doctor and had my regularly scheduled blood tests done and yesterday the clinic called to inform me that my blood work was all okay...even my cholesterol which is always a surprise to my doctors. Because I'm heavy they always assume that my cholesterol levels will be high, above normal, and I have had a doctor order a repeat second test once because it was so good with the HDL higher than the LDL, but all within normal levels, that he thought that there might be some mistake. I may be heavy, but I do eat all of the right foods....like Strawberry Shortcake ;)

Jimmy is off to Walmart to buy more birdseed. The birds are really hungry this morning and have emptied out everything. Jimmy fills the feeders & socks up every morning but because of the snow we had extra birds stop by for breakfast and are expecting more for lunch. Hopefully by supper time the snow will be melted and gone. Although it's very beautiful, I'm ready to see pretty flowers, leaves on trees and warm sunny skies.

* I couldn't think of a title

My cholesterol levels are always good. The doctor always seems surprised. They do tell me to lose weight though. We had no snow in Marion.

Glad your tests were all good!
Snow doesn't sound very springlike at all. I must say, it feels like spring here :)

strawberries are very good for you and since the cakes are short they won't hurt much.

We won't have blooms on our daffs for quite a while yet but the snowdrops have little buds.
We've had a mix of temps and a little bit of snow and cold wind this past week. Sunny and mid 40s today. Nice!
Glad your tests were good. That's always encouraging.
It's good to see Jimmy and the kitties out enjoying the weather. Your daffs are lovely. Such a welcome sight :)
